We have a lot of customers who use our Volt 7v heated products for a variety of applications and activities to help keep them warm but don’t know that they don’t have to just use the included 7v battery as a power source. Have you ever wanted to power your 7v Volt heated vest or jacket with unlimited power?
Our Fusion Converter/Controller allows you to power your 7v heated garment from a 12v power source. If you have a 12v accessory outlet in your car, snowmobile, ATV/UTV or boat then you can use the Fusion Converter/Controller to not only power your 7v heated garment but it will also charge up your battery at the same time. In addition, your 7v Volt Heated product will also provide even more heat than the included battery when you use the Fusion Converter/Controller as it is sending more voltage to the heating system.
An example on how I like to use the Volt Fusion Converter/Controller is out fishing in the boat. After we launch and are ready to run to our fishing spot which is miles away I can then plug in my 7v Cracow insulated vest to the 12v adapter in the boat and stay toasty warm which is a godsend on those frigid cold mornings going 45mph on open water with salt spray splashing in my face. And at the same time the boat is providing power to heat up my vest it is also charging up my battery. So when we do get to our fishing spot I can then switch over to my lithium battery for power where I don’t have to be tethered which gives me the portability to move around on the boat while I fish.
Most of our Fusion Converter/Controller customers are using them for when riding their motorcycle, UTV or snowmobile but there are many other applications that may also be of interest to you and how you use your Volt Heated Clothing.
Some of our Fusion Converter/Controller hiking customers use it while in the car to traveling to the trailhead to be able to charge up the battery and still be able to use their 7v heated product. The controller has a built-in controller that allows them to choose from 3 power level settings. And when they get to their destination where they head outside into the cold they can then use the battery that is fully charged up and ready to go.
One customer includes a gentlemen who works at a golf course who connects through a 12v adapter they had put in their golf cart so they could heat their Torso Vest liner and stay toasty warm while riding around the golf course helping to keep play moving. Another customer connects to a car battery using a battery harness that he rigged up in his tree stand so he could heat up his 7v Camo Jacket while sitting and waiting for his shot.
So if you already have a Volt 7v heated product keep in mind you have the option of using our Fusion Converter/Controller to power it up and to also be able to charge your battery. All you need is a 12v power source which most vehicles already have.

The autumn air is sharp, the turf is often damp, and the bleachers are freezing. For parents, fall sports are a test of thermal endurance. Your young athlete is running, generating constant heat, and staying perfectly warm. You, the stationary spectator, are fighting a losing battle against the cold—your body is not producing enough heat, and your traditional layers are failing you.

Riding a motorcycle offers a sense of freedom unlike any other, but that freedom comes with a heightened need for safety and a readiness for all conditions. While most riders focus on protective gear for impact and abrasion, the single greatest threat to a rider's safety on a cold day isn't a fall—it's the cold itself.

Every hunter knows the feeling. You've been sitting for hours, absolutely still, hoping for that perfect shot. Then, a shiver starts, and it's not from excitement. Your hands feel like blocks of ice, and the cold begins to seep into your core. The moment you've been waiting for is finally here, but you're too cold to take it.
It started with a challenge to our company founder to find a solution for his mother who suffered from cold feet, even while indoors in a heated home.
