When you purchase a Volt product directly from Voltheat.com you will be covered by a 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase of your Volt Heat product send it back within 30 days for a full product refund. Please note that in order to take advantage of this offer; the item must remain in new and unused condition with all the original packaging. 

LIFETIME Limited Warranty

Our patented Zero Layer Heat System is the toughest and most durable heat system on the market. We want your Volt product to be able to help keep you warm season after season so we are covering it with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

All Volt Resistance heated gear excluding batteries/chargers (“Products”) is covered by a lifetime limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship (“Manufacturer’s Defect”). If it is determined that your Product has a Manufacturer’s Defect within the first year of original purchase, we will replace or repair (at our option) that Product at no cost to you. All you do is provide us with proof of purchase (from authorized reseller) and pay the cost of shipping it to us. Volt Resistance has sole discretion to determine Manufacturer’s Defects. Lost or stolen items are not covered.

We will cover the battery(ies) and charger for up to 90 days after the purchase date. Proof of purchase is necessary. We recommend that upon receiving your Volt product, immediately remove the battery(ies) and charger from the package, inspect for any visible damage and proceed to fully charge the battery(ies).

After the first year and for the lifetime of your Product, the Warranty Processing Fees set forth below, plus any applicable taxes, will be charged:

How long does the warranty claim process take?

We will do our best to process your warranty claim or repair within 5-7 business days. Please keep in mind that we may require additional time during peak season (October - February).

Warranty Return

In the unfortunate event that your Volt product has become damaged or is no longer working and fits in one of the above categories you can send it back for a warranty review. In order to successfully do this you must first contact Voltheat.com to get a valid Return Authorization # (RA#) and return address. You can either email info@voltheat.com or call (888) 518-6871 to request a Return Authorization #. Once you have this information you will then need to send the item back to us for review. Be sure to include a note that describes the issue that you are having as well as all of your contact info (name, telephone number, email address, return mailing address).


Be sure to always read the instructions and warnings provided with your Volt Heat product before use. If for some reason you do not have this information please contact us and we can provide it for you.

Product Care

Always remove battery before washing. We recommend to spot clean with a damp cloth or hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, hang dry. Do not twist the garment to prevent damage to cable. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. If you do machine wash, we recommend using a delicate cycle covering the plug on the product with some tape to prevent moisture and/or detergents entering plug. Make sure the plug is completely dry before using. For gloves, we do not recommend machine washing. 

Battery Care

– Failure to charge battery prior to use will reduce battery life.

– CHARGE BATTERY REGULARLY. Charge between each use and a minimum of once every 3 months. It is important to maintain between a 25% - 75% charge in our battery when not in use. Fully charged or discharged batteries left at idle for an extended period of time can damage the battery cells. Failure to do this will result in performance problems and reduced battery life.

– The battery life is 300+ cycles before the battery will diminish in capacity output.

– Lithium batteries provide a diminished capacity output at extreme cold temperatures (below freezing) – keep batteries inside the garment to minimize the impact and improve the performance.


Please read product labels and all instructions before using your Volt heated product. Failure to follow instructions may cause overheating, fire or injury.

Use carefully. May cause serious burns. You must frequently check skin exposed to the heating area to avoid burning. Never expose bare skin to heating area.

The recommended power setting of 50% is sufficient for indoor use at temperatures between 50-64 degrees fahrenheit. With lower temperatures during outdoor use the power setting at 75% to 100% is sufficient. It is not recommended to use the 100% power setting indoors for a long period of time as it may cause overheating and bodily discomfort.

When will my order ship?

Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States. Orders received by 1pm EST will ship the same business day. Orders received after 1pm EST will ship the next business day. Estimated time of delivery doe not include weekends. After your order is processed you will be sent an email with your sales receipt that will include the shipment tracking number.

We will be closed from 12/23 – 12/26 for Christmas. Any orders placed after 12pm eastern time on 12/23 will not ship out until 12/28.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase of your Volt Heat product. This includes our rechargeable batteries, heated gloves, vests, and jackets, and all other Volt Heat products. If products purchased from voltheat.com do not meet your expectations, you may return it with the packing slip within 30 days of purchase. 

Returned products must be new, unused, and contain all original packaging and accessories (including product manuals and instructions). Any product that has been misused or that shows any signs of extensive use will not be returned or exchanged.

A return can be initiated by emailing info@voltheat.com where you can receive a return authorization number and an address to return your product.

Return or exchange shipping charges back to us are the responsibility of the customer. For exchanges we pay the shipping for the exchanged item being sent back to you. 

Any return containing a lithium battery must be shipped in sturdy box having the correct labels and marks necessary to be compliant with Department of Transportation regulations. 

NOTE: Products sold as "FINAL SALE" are not eligible for return or exchange.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to Canada and most countries in Europe, Central America and South America. All international orders will ship as soon as the funds are verified. Any extra duty/tax charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Why am I being charged sales tax?

All retail orders that are sold to consumers in Florida are subject to a 7% sales tax.

How do I ship to a different address?

On the Checkout page, check the box after “Ship to a different address”

I am in between sizes, which size should I order?
For men we recommend going up to the next available size. For women we recommend going down to the lower size if the product is not a women's specifically sized product. 


I live in a different country, is your charger compatible with 220v?

Our chargers can be used with both 110V and 220V. You will need to get the adapter for your country’s plug that would be compatible with USA 110V plug.

Can I use a battery or charger I have from another company with your products?

No. Never connect your Volt Heat product with any other battery or charger not produced by us regardless of how similar the plugs may look, may feel, or appear to fit or work together. Failure to do so can cause damage to your product and doing will void your product from warranty.

What happens if my Volt heated product gets wet?

It is ok for a Volt Heat product to get wet but special care should be taken to keep the battery dry. The battery case is water resistant however batteries should never be submerged in water. If a battery does get wet, unplug the battery from the product and allow it ample time to completely dry before reconnecting to your Volt Heat product.

The Zero Layer® heating system in our Volt Heat products are sealed and protected from moisture. We also use waterproof membranes and coated fabrics to help keep the product from getting wet.

Why doesn’t my battery turn ON?

In order for you to turn “ON” the battery, you must first plug it into your Volt Heat product. Once plugged into the product, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds and your battery will turn “ON”.

How do I know when my battery is fully charged?

The LED lights on the battery will show 4 solid lights when the battery is 100% charged.

Note: Each charger has built-in overcharge protection and will stop charging when the battery has been fully charged.

How do I know which power level setting my battery is on?

Each battery (except the VB322 slipper battery) has a four level controller which allows the user to select the best level of heat output for their comfort.

VB734U, VB725U: On the highest setting, the battery will have all four lights on. On the lowest setting, the battery will only have one light on.

VB320RC : Red light – 100% highest setting, Orange Light – 66% Med, Green Light – 25% Lowest setting

Note: The VPS825HV Batteries for the Volt Heated Lava Boots DO NOT have a controller. The controller switch is on the product.

RED = High, BLUE = Medium, GREEN = Low


How long does the battery last per charge?

The duration of battery life per charge depends on the product and the power level setting.

Approximate battery duration by power level:


100% High – 2/3 Hours (2500mAh/3400mAh battery)

75% Med/High – 3/6 Hours

50% Medium – 5/9 Hours

25% Low – 8-12 Hours


RED High – 2/5Hours 

BLUE Med/High – 3.5/7 Hours

GREEN Low – 5/10 Hours

How do I know how much power or charge is left in my battery?


VB734U & VB725U

You can check the power status of the battery by disconnecting the battery from the product and holding down the power button. The LED lights will light up indicating power status. All 4 lights indicates the battery is charged, 3 lights indicate 75%, 2 lights indicate 50% , 1 light indicates 25% and flashing lights indicates the battery needs to be charged.


Just like the batteries above, You can check the power status of the battery by disconnecting the battery from the product and holding down the power button. The LED lights will light up indicating power status. Red indicates over 75%, Orange indicates 50%, Green 25% and Flashing Green indicates less than 25% and indicates the battery needs to be charged.
