I bought one of these for my dad at Christmas last year. He deer hunts with me and we had a real cold snap a couple of weeks ago, my dad was using this for only the 9th or 10th time and he started the heat out at 6:30 am, by 7:30 the battery was completely dead and he had half frozen hands for the last 2 hours of the hunt.

Decent
I work construction and have had it for two years now. The build is great although if it gets wet its staying damp for 24-48 hours. I wish it was hotter. It does a good job at keeping your hand warm but its terrible at heating them back up. If your job doesnt allow you to wear gloves this is a good option.

Great warmer, but...
I really like the warmer but the only issue is battery life. It's plenty warm on the lowest setting but the battery only last 5 hours at that setting. If you are hunting all day, that's an issue. I would like less heat and more battery life if I could get it...

Question
How long does it take before I should start to feel heat
