Without these gloves, I would be unable to enjoy winter outdoor activities. Although a heated thumb was advertised with my past orders, this latest pair of Volt mittens truly have a heated thumb

I have had other electric mittens, but these are superior. This time, I originally ordered a different pair from Volt, but they were too big. Customer service was very helpful and pointed me to these, which are perfect. These mittens are even warm when they are not on. I knocked a star off because of two improvements that I think could be made: 1 - I find it difficult to find and push the battery button. I often end up taking off my mitten to do it. If a button on the glove itself could be added, like the Avalanche, it would be nice improvement, 2 - the gauntlet can be difficult to pull on over my jacket. Perhaps zipper here would help get it on then zip down to have a snug fit to keep the air out. Overall, I highly recommend these mittens, but would love to see these improvements

I'm about to order my 4th pair of these mittens. Without them I would have had to move to a warmer clime. I hike or ski everyday, often in below zero temps. I have real problems with the circulation in my hands. These mittens are fantastic. The batteries perform exactly as described and the heating elements distributed to all parts of the mitten warm the entire hand. The reason for 4 pairs? I'm really hard on them what with climbing in snowshoes or skis.

Quality look and construction. Run a bit small. My wrist to tip of longest finger is almost 7 inches. When I have my hands in the mittens my fingers touch the end. Because of this the wrist strap rises up onto my hand and becomes uncomfortable after some time.

I was given a pair of these heated mittens by my husband for alpine skiing a year or two ago; I ski weekly at least one or two days and it seems my hands were always cold until I got these. I just purchased another pair to give my sister in Minnesota. These mittens are very good - the batteries last a good length of time - easily all day skiing if set on low or medium; for about 1/2 day if on high. They are a bit heavy with the batteries, but you do not notice that when they are on your hands. The batteries charge up easily overnight or in several hours. They are easy to adjust when you are wearing them. The mittens are warm even without the batteries being activated - in fact your hands will sweat a bit but they don't get cold if you turn on the heat low setting for a short time. They've served me very well for skiing and I usually have really cold hands (and feet too). The mittens are long so it is nice they go up your arm slightly and snow doesn't get inside if you do happen to take a spill. I highly recommend! Also, Volt has awesome customer service which is important these days!
