The Outfitter Heated Jacket is filled to the max with heat utilizing two separate heating systems powered by two included batteries. You will be fully enclosed in a maximum amount of heat with 8 heating zones. This is made up with 4 pads in the back, 2 in the chest and 2 in the pockets. The four back heating panels are heated using the controller on the right hand side of the garment and the chest and hand warmer pocket heating panels are heated using the controller on the left hand side of the garment.

Maximum heat output combined with the rugged utility of a hardcore shirt jacket make this garment perfect for the trail, your next camping trip or a Friday night urban adventure. The Outfitter Heated Jacket is lined with fluffy flannel making it so comfortable you will not want to take it off and she will want to steal it from you when the temperature drops. Volt Button Location/Suggestion 4.95 Rating

I’ve had my Volt Outfitter Jacket for several years now…in fact it’s my second as I did have an issue with a failed heating element and
It was replaced under warranty…quick and efficient service.

Overall I give this jacket a 4.95 star rating :-) it’s stylish, and comfortable…use it all the time for every occasion.

Why not 5 stars? My only complaint is no Tall Versions, only one color option, and the location for the Buttons for the control…they are on the bottom of the jacket…and as we know they light up. So, I catch people always looking down there to see what the lights are all about…😂

Due to the location of the buttons I find that they get hit often on accident and either get turned on or off when it’s not desired. Can be frustrating…

Feels like these buttons could have been installed in a different location to prevent the accidental presses…

If I wasn’t concerned about the warranty…I’d consider adding new buttons and rewire the current ones so that I could relocate the controls to a more convenient location.

So my suggestion for a revamp on the design is to offer a couple more color options and offer a Tall version…to fit us taller folks out there…as well as relocate the buttons…👍🏽

Some issues.

I was under the impression that the product was made in the USA because I got it for my boyfriend who prefers American made products. It’s made in China. A snap from the jacket has already fallen off. The battery also doesn’t last as long as it says online and in the pamphlet. The fabric is really good and comfortable though and for the time it does heat, it is nice. It has to be on high though to feel the heat.

Great Jacket, and is warm even when turned off. Customer service is top notch, had a battery issue and the excellent customer service promptly re-solved the issue. Looking forward to buying more products.

Bought it, love it!

Repeat,,, Bought it... Love it..... Turned a lot of friends to VOLT. I work on the air at a radio station in Vermont. This makes my trip to get on the air awesome. You SHOULD be advertising on our 8 stations! Love Volt products!!!....

Excellent heated vests, slippers and shoes

My husband bought me the vest slippers and shoes. I’ve been sick for awhile and I’m always cold. My husband bought these for me and I won’t leave home without them. They are well worth the money. Thank you bolt company. You saved my life
