The Volt Heat Moto heated jacket liner is designed for riders who need reliable warmth and consistent performance during long rides and changing weather conditions. Engineered to connect directly to your motorcycle’s 12V battery, this heated motorcycle jacket liner delivers steady heat across key areas of your upper body while remaining thin enough to layer comfortably under your riding jacket.
If you are searching for the best heated motorcycle jacket liner that balances power, comfort, and durability, this liner provides an efficient heating system combined with rider-focused features. The streamlined design allows it to function as a practical motorcycle jacket liner without adding bulk, making it ideal for commuting, touring, and cold-weather riding.
Advanced Heating System for Even Heat Distribution
This heated jacket liner uses strategically placed heating panels positioned in the collar, chest, arms, and back to distribute warmth evenly. Instead of concentrating heat in a single area, the system spreads warmth across the entire upper body to help riders maintain comfort during extended rides.
The Volt Heat Moto heated motorcycle jacket liner draws a maximum of 6.4 amps (77 watts) at 12 volts, making it powerful yet efficient for most motorcycles and snow machines. Riders who want the best heated motorcycle jacket liner often prioritize balanced heat coverage, and this design focuses on exactly that.
Dual Wiring System for Independent Temperature Control
One of the most practical features of this heated jacket liner motorcycle system is its dual wiring capability. The included Dual Therm controller allows riders to independently adjust heat levels for two different pieces of gear.
For example, you can connect your gloves and control their heat separately from the jacket. This flexibility makes the liner more adaptable than standard heated motorcycle jacket liners that only offer a single temperature control.
Key benefits include:
● Independent heat control for gloves and jacket
● Simplified wiring with a single battery connection
● Adjustable comfort during different riding conditions
This setup also allows the liner to function as a heated jacket insert, meaning you can integrate it seamlessly into your existing riding gear system.
Slim Fit Design That Works Under Any Riding Jacket
The Volt Heat Moto heated jacket liner is constructed with a rip-stop coated nylon shell that is both wind-resistant and highly compressible. The fitted design allows it to sit comfortably under your primary riding jacket with minimal layering underneath.
Design highlights include:
● Form-fitting structure for layering
● Tall collar to help seal heat around the neck
● Rib-knit cuffs and waist for a secure fit
● Two handwarmer pockets
● Zippered power-plug storage pockets
Because of its streamlined build, riders often use it as a heated jacket insert beneath their main motorcycle jacket while still maintaining full mobility on the bike.
Simple Battery Connection and Installation
Powering the liner is straightforward. The included fused battery harness connects directly to your motorcycle’s battery terminals.
Basic connection steps:
1. Connect the red wire to the positive (+) battery terminal.
2. Connect the black wire to the negative (–) terminal.
3. Attach the controller and connect the liner.
The included harness contains multiple fuse options depending on how many 12V heated products you plan to power. If you want to understand the electrical setup before installation, the included guide also provides a clear heated jacket wiring diagram.
Once installed, the liner works as a complete heated jacket liner motorcycle system powered directly by your bike.
Integrated Heated Glove Compatibility
This liner is designed to work as part of Volt Heat’s interconnected heated gear system. The jacket includes integrated connectors that allow heated gloves to plug directly into the liner.
This configuration eliminates excess wires and simplifies your riding setup. Riders comparing options for the best heated motorcycle jacket liner often prefer systems that support multiple heated accessories with minimal connections.

Works great
Most other heated products require you to purchase the wiring harness and controller separately for inflated prices. The fact that both are included is a major Incentive. Installation was easy and straight forward.
I've used it a couple of times in the morning as it hasn't been really cold yet this year (about 40°) and it has worked well. I found myself being too hot and had to turn it down. Also, I'm using this in conjunction with the gloves which have also been fantastic thus far.

Thumbs up
The fit is good. Love the wind proof cuffs and waist. The high neck heated/zippered collar is fantastic. I wish the pockets were deeper and had zippers. No biggie. But yeah, nice product. 👍

the only way to ride in winter
I think I've had the jacket liner and gloves for three or four winters and couldn't be happier. I live in the houston, tx area so the weather changes alot even during the day so having this equipment with me I never have to be cold. The gloves work very well too. and to be able to adjust the heat level independent of each other is a big plus.
