These batteries are very well made.

They have excellent circuits to protect them from overuse, neglect, and a bit of abuse.

If you know how much you intend to use a Volt device powered by these batteries, consider buying the larger capacity batteries if you know that you will use your gloves on the high or highest heat settings, or have the batteries powered on for a lengthy period of time, to ensure you have the battery life you need.

Volt is super great at replying to any question you might have. I would ask that Volt take everything they know about using, charging, and storing these batteries and either update the published info they provide with the batteries, or publish an FAQ so that the collective wisdom can be shared.

As a senior with arthritic hands and the related Reynaud's syndrome, warm hands while shoveling / plowing is important to me. I bought these two batteries to replace a single broken one, where the terminal contact just inside the battery opening had somehow broken loose and would not engage with associated cables. Your seemingly proprietary connection system for both charging and wearing is very difficult to engage for someone such as me. The release tab is fussy, the opening to insert the wired connector is small, and apparently the male contact terminal susceptible to breakage. Because I paid a lot of money for these gloves just two years ago, I chose to buy more batteries rather than discard the gloves. But your battery design doesn't provide confidence for longevity or ease of use.
