FEATURED REVIEW
“I use my gloves during the winter to plow snow, ride my snow mobile and also drive the side by side. They do everything I need them to when it is extremely cold out. This image here is from a trip where we were driving a couple hours a day in the RZR in 12 degree temps. You can tell it is cold from the frost on my gloves…my hands weren’t cold though!”

The Avalanche X is the flagship of our extreme line of heated gloves. Why is it extreme you might ask? In order to be a part of our extreme line of Volt Heat products you need extra heat, extra heat coverage, extra insulation and extreme features. The Avalanche X has a built-in external controller that allows you to easily identify each power setting and gives you the option to select between 3 power settings to your desired heat output. With 20% more heat coverage you will feel why this glove is a part of the Extreme family. Soothing heat radiates all around each finger(including thumb) and extends over the fingertips heating both sides of the hand. The added high retention insulation also helps trap heat in and keep cold air out. Even if you run out of battery power during your cold weather adventure, you can enjoy warm hands with the Avalanche X gloves. Complete with two rechargeable batteries and a dual wall charger, you can simply remove your battery plug it in to the charger and be back in to warm hands within hours. If you want all day high power heat you can have multiple charged batteries with you and just switch them out as they run out of power.
A toggle cinch gauntlet will give you the confidence to tackle the deepest powder without worrying about getting snow under your cuff. A ski leash has also been added to the Avalanche X, so you can take your gloves off but keep them with you around your wrist. Premium rich leather and a pre-curved design help maintain dexterity and fit like a dream. The double reinforced leather palm make the Avalanche X gloves tough enough for even the most extreme outdoor activity.
With the added heat coverage, extra high retention insulation, external push button temp controller and other subtle upgrades, the Avalanche X heated gloves by Volt are truly Extreme.

excellent
I got so tired of being cold when the temp on the slopes drops to 20 degrees. I've had other heated gloves but the batteries only lasted for one season and were hard to get replacements!. NOT SO WITH VOLT! Plus, I have some of there heated base layers as well. NO MORE COLD. Thanks for some great functioning products.
As a Michigander we get our share of cold weather and snow . I use an ATV to plow with which can take 2 to 3 hours . Being older, my hands and toes can't take the cold. My hands would just be throbbing form the cold. My wife had bought 3 other pairs of heated gloves, they were GARBAGE. Warm in the house nothing were it counts OUTSIDE. Doing some research Volt brand kept coming up all reviews were good and customer service was raved about . I bought a pair of Avalanche heated gloves "THEIR AWESOME" . Love the preheat feature and the easy access on - off buttons. A little pricey , But Worth Every PENNY!!! Only regret , there is a dual voltage glove now available , wish i would have waited a few months . But my fingers are not !!! Maybe the socks are next.
I have had these mitts for about five years. They’ve served me exceptionally well. Now that they’re starting to show signs of age I’m looking to get a new pair. I have extra batteries and a charger at work and at home. Great products!
Have used Volt gloves for 5 winters now. I started with the Tatra's, 2 winter's later purchased the impulse X gloves. Decided this last winter to go for the Avalanche X gloves as well. All are great. Each is sequentially warmer. The impulse and availache use the newer battery system which can be controlled from an easily accessible wrist switch with just the touch of a finger. Much easier than the Tatra glove. I now use the Tatra's for really mild cold and the others as it gets colder. The impulse glove is better suited as an all around glove while the avalanche is fantastic for really cold windy weather. They also are the most bulky. My finger tips get cold really easy and take forever to warm once they do. I spent a small fortune over the course of probably ten years trying to find gloves that would do the job, to no avail. Volt eliminated that problem immediately. I can now go out into the cold anytime I wish in comfort. The avalanche and impulse gloves use the same batteries which means since I have both I also have two sets of interchangeable batteries. We can have some pretty windy snowy and cold winters here in Northern Il. I use them mostly for walling the dog early mornings and evenings. You can't go wrong with them, well worth the money.;
