Are they heated boots or heated slippers? They are whatever you need them to be. Easy to put on, very durable but lightweight, and run off our new 8v heating system and powered by our ultra slim batteries that tuck away into in small battery pouch on the side of the slipper. Simply charge them up and enjoy soothing warmth for 7 to 14 hours on a single charge. Choose from 3 power level settings using the one touch controller switch built into the boots.

Make them your everyday shoe whether it is at the house, the cabin or even the mountain trail. They were designed based on years of customer feedback asking for a lightweight heated boot they could use both indoors and outdoors. You wanted it warmer, we did that. You wanted it to last longer per charge, we did that. You wanted a smaller, thinner unnoticeable battery, we did that. We then put it over the top by bumping up the heat output by using our 8v heating system that provides even more heat than you have been used to before. We hope you love them as much as we do.

UPPER: Made with a durable 4200 denier ripstop nylon with DWR (durable water repellent) coating bonded with a 2mm SBR neoprene + 180 grams of Spenco EVA that provides support, cushioning and heat insulation.

LINING: Fully lined with a faux fur and Terry cloth fabric provides a silky soft home for your feet

INSOLE: EVA constructed foam bed insole that cushions the foot while providing intense heat to keep you warm

OUTSOLE: A combination of a EVA midsole + rubber outsole helps keep the Lava Boots lightweight but durable. The rubber outsole allows you to stay confident on your feet providing a great grip, keeping you sturdy on your feet.

Fantastic. Better than expected.

I have a very active lifestyle which has become less and less feasible due to my neuropathy. I've relied on chemical boot warmers, wool socks, extremely insulated boots, electric blankets, foot warmers, foot messagers, and medication to maintain a normal life. I was reluctant to buy these boots thinking that they were likely poor fitting, cheaply made, and/or poorly performing. Any such concerns were just plain wrong. These things are real boots/shoes that heat very effectively. I'm very impressed. Its not hyperbole to say that these boots are somewhat life changing. Thank you!!! P.S. It may interest some that I normally wear shoes and boots ranging from 11, 11.5, and 12. I initially ordered 11s and needed to exchange them for 12s. The exchange process was smooth as could be hoped.

Love my lava boots! Once my feet get cold it takes forever to warm them. I decided to invest in these boots and was not disappointment. Customer service is exemplary I highly recommend this boot.

Better than insoles or socks

I love that these go on when i go outside. i would have preferred the slippers for indoor use too, but needed something dedicated to outdoor use with some water resistance, and the higher voltage appealed to me. The sole is a little on the hard side for me because i have bone spurs, but since the heat doesn't seem to be under my heels, I am able to wear heel cups to reduce impact. the power buttons glitch a tiny bit (don't come on or go off sometimes), but it seems to work with some persistence. i can feel the wire elements somewhat when i walk despite wearing thick socks. i'm interested to know if the slippers are more soft underfoot. i tried socks, but their batteries are more visible over tights or don't fit in my regular boots and need washing. and some brands don't heat the tips of the toes.
