Giving the Gift of Warmth this Valentine's Day

Giving the Gift of Warmth this Valentine's Day

February 02, 2024

Valentine's Day is around the corner and with warmer Spring weather still a few months away, give the gift of warmth to your loved one this year. Whether you are buying for a woman or a man, everyone deserves some extra warmth to help comfort them from the cold. Below are a few gift ideas:

For the active female:

  • Ski season is in full swing but nothing ruins a day on the slopes more than cold hands and frozen feet. Check out our lineup of women's heated gloves/mittens and heated socks that will help keep you warm. Our Women's Impulse X gloves and Titan heated gloves are not only heated providing full heat coverage on both sides of the hand, they also have a waterproof membrane to help keep you dry. These glove styles were specifically designed for snow skiing and to fit a woman's hand. We also have heated mittens if that is what she prefers which a lot of women do as they typically are warmer.
  • This time of year can be a great time to get out for a walk with some bright sunny days however that cold wind can cut right through you if are not dressed appropriately. To combat that frigid air that can chill you to the bone, check out the women's Radiant and Cracow heated vests. These insulated vests provide intense heat to help warm up the body's core and the heat retaining insulation also blocks out the cold.

For the homebody who hates the cold:

  • Maybe your spouse is the type when it is cold who would rather stay in the house and binge-watch a few Netflix series. Nothing is cozier than settling in on the sofa and sliding on a pair of Volt Gen VI heated slippers or Lava Heated Boots that surround the feet in a cocoon of warmth. Nobody should have cold feet in their own house. And these slippers are portable so you can bring that heat with you as you if you need to make a stroll out to feed the dogs or get the mail.

For the winter sportsman:

  • This is the time of year when if you are going to be outdoors you are taught to layer up for warmth. Why not layer up with heat and eliminate some of those extra layers? This will also help keep those laundry loads much smaller. Take a look at the Tactical Base Layer or the Torso Vest Liner which are designed to be worn as a mid-layer garment over the top of a thin shirt and then under an outer jacket or hoody. When the temperature dips simply power on the heat with the included battery and select from 4 power level settings.

For the outdoor worker:

  • Earning a living while having to deal with the elements can be rough, no matter how tough you may be. We have over 30 different styles of heated gloves and mittens engineered with Volt's patented Zero Layer Heat System to help keep your hands warm to allow you to do your job. Durable glove styles like our Leather Work Gloves and the Tatra Heated Snow Gloves have been popular choices over the years for those whose vocation is out braving the cold.
  • Maybe your job requires a more sleek design or quick access to the use of your fingers. The Volt Frostie II heated gloves are a great all-purpose glove and the new Urban Leather heated gloves are a fantastic option if your work environment a more dressy look. The Finger Flip gloves are a streamlined design that eliminates some bulk and gives you the freedom to use your fingers for full tactile dexterity and precision.

Don't forget about the loved one in your life this Valentine's Day and consider giving them the gift of warmth. They deserve it.

Stay warm!
